How we do it
The cleaning plan follows the working day, not the other way round.
Office cleaning begins with how the workplace functions. We ask when staff arrive, which days are busiest, how meeting rooms turn over and where food is prepared. A small studio with shared desks needs a different routine from a multi-room office with client areas and several washrooms. Access cards, alarms, keys and the nominated contact are agreed before the first visit. We also establish a clear-desk rule so cleaners know what may be touched and what must remain exactly as found.
The service is divided into zones with separate tools for washrooms, kitchens and general work areas. Bins and obvious loose waste are handled according to the building arrangement; confidential papers are never assumed to be rubbish. Accessible desks, touchpoints and shared tables are cleaned without spraying directly onto monitors, keyboards or electrical equipment. Floors are completed along a route that avoids trapping the cleaner behind freshly mopped areas or disturbing teams working late.
Frequency is adjusted to real use. Kitchenettes and washrooms may need attention every visit, while low-use meeting rooms, ledges or detailed floor edges can rotate. Periods of high occupancy, events or building work can temporarily change the priorities. Specialist waste, server rooms, laboratory areas and secure archives require their own procedure and are excluded unless explicitly assessed. A written scope prevents assumptions between the office manager, building team and cleaner.
Each visit ends with a simple operational check: supplies and bins as agreed, taps off, windows and internal doors left in their instructed position, and alarms or keys handled correctly. Issues such as leaks, damaged dispensers or blocked access are reported to the contact rather than ignored. Over time, the routine is refined from feedback and observed use. The aim is a workplace that is ready when staff return, achieved quietly and consistently without interfering with the information or equipment that keeps the business running.
